Jayden Brown is one of Queensland and Australia's most up and coming dressage talents.  Having produced many successful dressage horses, Jayden is fast making a name for himself as a rider and trainer.

Jayden started with horses at just six years old, after having graduated from his first pony onto a bigger and more athletic pony, Jayden's ability to train a horse started to show.  The pony, Gemstones Amethyst started out as a slightly willful mare with more than a few tricks up her sleeve.  After several years together, Jayden and Amethyst won many pony club and inter-school competitions.  Amethyst became well known as the super jumping pony after winning a six bar competition, jumping 1.36m. (Not bad for a 13hh pony and an 11 year old,)

After moving onto horses, Jayden started to train the 5year old gelding Fairbanks Gangster.  Gangster started out as a very spooky young horse, often trying to jump out of the dressage arena but after many years of hard work, Gangster progressed to FEI level.  After winning more than 3 National Young Rider Championships and several state championships Gangster was sold to Victoria for another young rider to learn on.

Having trained with Grand Prix rider and Level 2 coach Jenny Gerhke for over 5 years, it was no suprise that Jayden would spend many school holidays and weekends watching and learning from Jenny.  After many holidays filled with work experience at Jenny's property and finishing year 12, Jayden decided to take the plunge and train in Germany. 

Riding in Germany with Leonie Bramall, Jayden started to learn how to bring the best out of many different horses.  Riding 5-7 horses a day, Jayden learnt to teach horses to go beyond their safety zone and to reach for that little bit more.  After two visits to Germany, and a year working in one of Australia's leading competition stables, Jayden now offers his knowledge to others.
